Travelers & Aluma-Beam
We stock travelers in 12”, 24” and 36” lengths. All of the travelers are designed to ride on standard 6” aluminum I-Beam (which we also stock in 20’ and 25’ lengths).
We also carry custom grapples for joining I-beam to 12” truss.
tyrolean traverses & zip lines
A Tyrolean Traverse refers to a method of crossing horizontally between two high points via a pulley on a rope or cable.
Probably obvious but zip lines are like a Tyrolean that goes downhill with a variety of ways people can ride along.
High Speed Pulleys
High speed pulleys work best with specific ropes like Tech-12, Spectra or Amsteel. We offer a variety of sizes ranging from 1/8” to 1/2” in diamond or pear blocks and single, double or triple pulleys.
Tirfors
We carry Tractel 532D Tirfors, rated to 8,000lb WLL and featuring a 5” per crank stroke and breaking strength of 40,000lb. They come with 30’ of 5/8” cable.
Pneumatic returns
These are devices that make travelers move mechanically. They are suitable for flying talent, targets or cameras.
Our returns allow for between 2-30’ of travel (extendable farther with additional sheaves) and are driven via compressor and an 80-gallon accumulator. Speed is controlled via valve adjustment and they can be controlled either manually , cycled on a relay or programmed with a motion control system like the Kuper.
JERK VESTS
Jerk vests are custom harnesses that allow talent to be suspended in a variety of ways (upright, horizontally, upside down, etc). They are also strong enough for ratcheting, wraps, etc.
We carry a variety of different sized and styles of jerk vests. We even have a line of kids-sized vests!
Chain Hoists
We offer a variety of sizes of CM Lodestar chain hoists and controllers.
Trips (pneumatic & squib)
We stock 2,200lb and 10,000lb mechanical trips. They’re set up for pneumatic operation but conversion to squib can be done in a half-hour or less.
Spreader bars
We stock several different sized spreader bars for various rigging applications.
